I have been looking for a 5th wheel trailer for several years. I knew about how much I would have to pay. BOY !! Was I happy when I started to deal with all the people at that dealership. I first met with Josh. He ans. all of my questions and then some. Without my knowing, I struck up a conversation with the owner, Mr. Porter, a down to earth person. What a nice guy. I soon found out that all the employees were all so helpful and knew there business. No pressure to buy. And all honest information. I could go on and on. However, if I do you will not read it all. I am a returning customer; we loved our first trailer TLX 2010 QB. I am a disabled person and the trailer was small for me. We brought it in to do some maintenance and talk to Josh who said if their a problem what we do to help you? We look at a couple of other trailers and decided to purchase a new trailer. Just got home yesterday after picking up our Bighorn 3185RL from Porter'sRV. And it really was the best sales experience we have ever had! My wife did most of the work (yes - as usual) in contacting and negotiating the trade-in and new purchase. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Porters RV is the best place to buy your RV. The professionalism in the Sales staff is unmatched. We visited several other dealerships looking for our first RV purchase but always found ourselves coming back to Porter's. Mark Richardson was awesome and very patient. We weren't exactly a slam dunk kinda sale. We had issues coming up with our down payment and we had to try several different avenues of financing. In the end some helpful advise from Mark and Darrin Porter steered us in the right direction. We finally were able to get the financing we needed. Through all our obsticals we never felt like we were just another failing deal. We felt like we were among family. How many people can say they made friends for life while making an RV or Auto purchase. NOT MANY...But we did! Well we just got done with our 2nd service visit at Porters and I hate to sound like a broken record but it was great again. Everyone there was friendly and professional. The young man washing the rv's was great to talk to when we were waiting. The staff was wonderful as usual - knowledgeable and friendly and hardworking. Darin, Emery, Mark, John, and all the people at Porter's are genuine good folks and will always go out of their way to help in any way they can. They give fair deals and good service. We have purchased three trailers from them and they have always exceeded our expectations. We don't always get everything we want on price but they try, ( we are hard sells) and the sales people never become inpatient or rude when you don't sign now as in other dealers we have shopped. My wife and I had been looking for a trailer with rear living for over a year. We stopped at Porter's to see the Cougar. We did like the Cougar and Mark proceded to show us several other types to no avail. He then asked if we would be interested in a gently used trailer. It was a 2011 Windriver and was what we fell in love with. Mark was very patient with us, and our friends. We purchased the trailer and are very pleased with it. The on site selection was great. Mark and John were very patient and enjoyable. The agreed terms of the financing were suprisingly acceptable. Its nice to walk away with terms you feel good about, not stressed over. Makes the whole process enjoyable. Greg and Dave your service on Saturday to get us ready to pull away was tops. We had our fifth wheel serviced at Porter's today, not for a problem but having some additional options installed by the service department. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the workmanship performed by the service tech Dave, what a great person, he really cares about customers and goes way beyond to do a great job. His work is done with care and he treats your rig like it was his own. The same goes for Emery the service mgr. he takes a hands on approach and helps you out in any way he can. Even when problems pile up and phones won't quit ringing he takes time for your and never loses his patience. Service is not an easy job as many times the customers are there because of a problem, but Porter's can take pride in the way these two gentlemen represent their dealership. While vacationing summer of 2013, we drove by Porter's RV . Knowing we planned on RV'ing full time we decided to see if they had any fairly new Montana's. Not having what we were looking for we went through the Bighorns. Found one we loved and knew we could not afford to buy it. December came around and we were contacted, made offer and now we own this beautiful Bighorn 3260 Elite. They were amazing through the process from beginning right up to the day we picked it up. I can't say enough about the staff at porters my wife and felt no pressure. From the beginning of the process Josh our sales person was very helpful and patient in getting us the traval trailer we wanted. I received great service from Mark. I was interested in a Jay Flight that was not yet available, and he did a great job following up with me. The pricing he quoted me was very low, up front. He also helped me understand a lot about travel trailers, and the different ways they are built, with the advantages and disadvantages of the different ways.
